Hi MIMterns! Our next Volunteer Internship Onboarding Sessions will be 15 July and 20 August, both at 6pm AWST. If you haven't selected your preferred shifts and returned a signed Volunteer Agreement, please refer to the latest email sent out for all relevant links. This onboarding session will guide you through everything you need to know before getting started, including a walkthrough of the Volunteer Onboarding Package and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) covering: - An intro to the MIM Network and our whale research collaborations - What to bring and how to prepare - Data collection, species ID, and photo-ID protocols - Code of conduct and expectations onboard - Q&A and shift planning We recommend joining the session closest to your first shift. This session will be recorded and made available online for those who can't make the live session. Please note: You MUST attend or watch one full onboarding session before your first shift.
